Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for directing and controlling the book closure activities, as required by the functions in the department and effectively and efficiently ensure all areas of revenue compliance and practices are adhered to in order to enable the organization to meet the internal and external timelines and requirements for publishing the quarterly and annual reports. 2. Contract and Proposal Reviews S/he will review financials, key aspects and risks involved in deals and contracts; assist in recommending solutions/alternate positions for non-standard or complex clauses/situations, involve other teams such as Delivery Risk Management or Information Security group in order to align contractual obligations of the client with the standards of the organization and minimizing the risk potential for the organization. 3.Financial Analysis To review and reconcile the Unit financials, provide recommendations on Unit financial information/data and alternative methodologies to analyze and present reports in a manner that will facilitate effective decision making for the unit and organizational management. 4. People Management Set clear and objective goals for the team; Monitor and review progress; Participate in performance reviews, mentoring and related HR processes for the team; participate in competency building initiatives; enable cross functional training in order to retain and motivate staff and build an effective and focused team Skills & Knowledge •Skilled in Standardization of GCC's processes •Skilled in GCC Consulting and Setup • Knowledge in Finance Operations & controllership •Knowledge in Internal Audit, Governance and Control review and Risk Management • Knowledge of accounting principles, contracts requirements, sound knowledge of the organization's processes, systems and basic policies Skills • High level of analytical ability, eye for detail, contractual/legal understanding, effective communication, •People Management skills, skilled in presentations & ability to use relevant software tools as part of work and ability to manage and guide a large team to achieve the department's objectives Qualification:- Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience.
