Manager - Business Analyst (Investment Management & Accounting Domain)

Product : Genesis

Location : Head Office, Noida

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Manager - Business Analyst with deep expertise in Investment Management, Fund Accounting, Hedge Funds, and Private Equity to drive the implementation and continuous evolution of Genesis, our flagship investment management and accounting platform.

This role goes beyond traditional business analysis and requires strong domain expertise, leadership ability, client engagement skills, and a passion for innovation in financial services and alternative investments.

Qualifications

MBA (Finance) from a prestigious institution or Chartered Accountant (maximum 3 attempts)

812 years of experience in investment management, hedge funds, private equity, or fund accounting

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Power BI, SQL, and ERP systems preferred

Certifications such as NCFM, CFA, FRM are an added advantage

Strong exposure to fund accounting, investor reporting, valuations, and regulatory compliance (SEBI, IND AS, IFRS, US GAAP)

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Domain Expertise

Act as a senior domain expert, ensuring Genesis aligns with industry best practices and regulatory standards

Provide thought leadership on hedge funds, private equity, and wealth management trends

Translate complex financial requirements into scalable product enhancements

Mentor and guide junior analysts

Client Engagement & Delivery

Lead requirement gathering, solution design, and stakeholder discussions

Manage greenfield and brownfield implementations globally

Build CXO-level relationships and ensure client satisfaction

Conduct training sessions and workshops for client teams

Implementation & Process Excellence

Oversee system configuration, testing, validation, and deployment

Resolve critical issues to ensure uninterrupted operations

Identify process improvements for efficiency and automation

Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors

Continuous Development

Track developments in financial instruments, accounting standards, and technology

Invest in continuous learning to maintain competitive expertise

Candidate Profile

Strong hands-on knowledge of equities, bonds, derivatives, FX, swaps, etc.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

High integrity and ability to manage complex projects under tight timelines

Strategic mindset with enthusiasm for innovation

Willingness to work across time zones and travel internationally

Valid Indian passport with a minimum of 6 months' validity
