Role Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Bench Sales Manager with strong experience in the US staffing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 510 bench sales recruiters, driving candidate placements, building strong vendor relationships, and actively contributing as an individual performer. This role requires leadership, strong negotiation skills, and deep knowledge of the US staffing market.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 510 Bench Sales Recruiters, guiding them to achieve placement targets.
- Drive team performance through daily tracking, coaching, and strategic direction.
- Act as an individual contributor by actively marketing bench consultants and closing placements.
- Manage the complete bench sales cycle including marketing candidates, submitting profiles, coordinating interviews, negotiating rates, and closing deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with US-based vendors, implementation partners, and clients.
- Ensure the team maintains consistent submissions and placements of bench candidates.
- Monitor recruiter performance and generate daily/weekly reports on submissions, interviews, and placements.
- Utilize job portals such as LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, and CareerBuilder to expand vendor networks and placement opportunities.
- Implement effective H1B marketing strategies to maximize consultant placements.
- Stay updated with US tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099) and compliance requirements.
- Support contract negotiations to secure competitive rates for both consultants and clients.
Qualifications
- 710 years of experience in Bench Sales / US IT Staffing.
- Proven experience managing and leading bench sales teams.
- Strong network of US vendors and implementation partners.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently place bench consultants.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of US staffing processes, tax terms, and compliance.
- Experience working with H1B, OPT, CPT, GC, and USC candidates is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
