Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and configure rating algorithms, factor tables, and proposal outputs using the StepWise software
• Develop and customize user experiences within StepWise for health plan sales and underwriting teams
• Implement and optimize business process and workflow automation using StepWise tools
• Configure and maintain StopLoss solution components, including rating algorithms, factor tables, and proposal outputs
• Leverage Excel and SQL-based systems to analyze data and solve complex client business challenges
• Present solution designs and configurations to both internal teams and external clients, ensuring clarity and alignment with business goals
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of progressive experience in IT
• 7+ years of hands-on experience working with the StepWise Suite, including solution design and configuration
• 7+ years of experience in Actuarial, Underwriting, or related roles within the commercial healthcare industry
• 7+ years of experience writing and optimizing SQL queries for data analysis and solution development
• 5+ years of expertise in healthcare rating systems development and administration
• 2+ years of specialized experience building StopLoss and related solutions within the StepWise Suite
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, including the use of complex formulas, macros, and VBA scripting
