About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Accounts & Finance Manager to manage end-to-end finance operations for our Europe business (Rotterdam operations).

The role involves AR, AP, import-export payments, banking, and SAP-based financial operations, along with strong coordination with logistics, supply chain, and international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Manage customer invoicing and collections for Europe business

Monitor receivables, ageing, and follow-ups with customers

Ensure timely realization of payments and resolve discrepancies

Accounts Payable (AP)

Handle vendor payments including shipping lines, CHA, freight forwarders, transporters, warehouses, and service providers

Invoice verification, reconciliation, and timely processing of payments

Manage vendor disputes and ensure accurate accounting

Import-Export & International Payments

Handle LC, TT, advance payments, and international banking transactions

Manage documentation and coordination with banks for import/export transactions

Ensure compliance with trade finance requirements

Banking & Treasury

Manage daily banking operations and payment planning

Cash flow monitoring and fund management

Bank reconciliation and forex-related transactions

SAP & Financial Systems

Work extensively on SAP (FI module preferred)

Ensure accurate posting of invoices, payments, and financial entries

Maintain vendor and customer master data

Logistics Cost & Expense Control

Validate freight and shipment-related costs

Track warehouse expenses, logistics charges, demurrage/detention

Monitor and control cost per shipment

Team Management

Lead and manage a team of 58 members

Ensure adherence to timelines, accuracy, and SLAs

Train, mentor, and drive performance of the team

Cross-functional Coordination

Work closely with logistics, supply chain, warehouse (Rotterdam), and sales teams

Ensure smooth financial operations aligned with business requirements

Reporting & Compliance

Prepare AR/AP ageing, cash flow, and MIS reports

Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements

Candidate Profile

Experience: Minimum 12+ years in Accounts & Finance

Strong exposure to AR, AP, and international trade payments

Experience in import-export / commodities / FMCG / logistics-heavy business

Hands-on experience in SAP (FI preferred)

Prior experience in team handling (5+ members)

Good understanding of Europe business or international transactions

Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
