JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition: Manager, Finance Location: ChennaiKey Responsibilities:Controlling:Manage site industrial and financial performance through daily, weekly, monthly and yearly indicators and toolsEnsure accuracy of management control and costing information in the ERP system of the siteEnsure reliability of site gross margin and operating margin expenses during closing processProvide all supporting information for closing entries (cut off adjustments, accruals, risk estimates).Promote, explain, control Internal Control framework within my perimeter.Monitor and drive Internal Control improvement plans to mitigate risks.Implement key internal control processes regarding site assets (physical counts, recording and identification procedures, IC Quest).Monitor site productivity plans (labor, overheads, material).Compliance:Oversee compliance on a routine basis including TDS, GST, Customs (MOOWR regulation applicable), POSH, ASI data, FLA filings, ECB, SEZ filings, Income tax and transfer pricing related (segmentation inclusive) and report to the board twice a year.Project Management:Enable financial reporting of the company move from IGAAP to IND AS further to additional equity infusion.FI Key user for Oracle Work with various stakeholders in the execution of the expansion project, prepare various reports based on requirements from Project management / HQ. Routine follow-up to meet timelines and tracking of progress for reporting back to managementRequirementsCandidate to preferably be from assurance / audit background with experience gained from working in a systematic organized environment bringing to the table industry best practices.He / She should be self-motivated and flexible and shall possess excellent leadership and English communication skills with experience in collaborating with a high-performance team.End user knowledge of advanced ERP and good logical understanding of ERP systems functionality.Strong time management habits. Good analytical and strategic planning skills along with experience with financial reporting and analysis.Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures and extensive knowledge of financial regulations, reporting, and compliance.Preferred Industry : Automotive / Consultant with Industry exposure. CA / MBA with post qualification experience : 6 to 10 years
