Manager -Academic Operations and Curriculum

Our Vertical - World Academy of Career Programmes (WACP) is an international education organisation partnering with schools to deliver career-focused, globally aligned programmes that bridge academics with real-world industry pathways for senior secondary students.

We are growing our team and looking for experienced professionals to help scale our school partnerships and academic programmes across India and international markets.

We are hiring a Manager Academic Operations & Curriculum. This role will look into curriculum alignment and delivery readiness across partner schoolsensuring programmes are compliant, consistently delivered, and scalable across multiple schools and geographies. This is not a teaching role.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain curriculum frameworks across programmes
• Ensure alignment with International frameworks, Assessment and certification requirements, Career-readiness outcomes
• Work with subject experts to refine content without diluting academic standards.
• Translate curriculum into operationally executable academic plans (Year plans, term plans, assessments, rubrics, etc)
• Ensure academic calendars, milestones, and assessments are clearly defined and tracked.
• Act as the academic escalation point for delivery issues
• Support onboarding and academic orientation of faculty / trainers.
• Ensure consistency in academic delivery across schools.
• Review lesson plans, assessments, and outputs for quality and compliance.
• Oversee assessment frameworks, grading logic, and moderation.
• Coordinate academic inputs required for certifications and transcripts.
• Maintain documentation and audit readiness.
• Analyse feedback from schools, faculty, and outcomes.
• Support leadership with academic insights during school conversations and reviews.

Skills & Experience

• 57 years experience in academic operations, curriculum design, or programme management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High academic rigour with operational discipline
• Comfortable working with educators, leadership, and external partners
