Manager- CAN IVN

Role:

• In vehicle network design, development and implementation.
• Automotive software communication and Diagnostic test and reporting
• Communication and Diagnostic security design and development.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare electronic controller’s software specification and In-vehicle network Design specifications.
• Conduct software design check.
• Supplier interaction & supplier management for Controller Software development.
• Technical reviews/Design reviews with suppliers.
• Engineering evaluation of part (vehicle level and part level).
• Coordination for meeting the targets of design and development.
• Check on all failure modes in CAN communication and execute test cases independently
• Define test cases for CAN IVN, understanding vehicle CAN Network of EVs

Technical/ Functional:

• Experience in multi CAN channel network (4-6 channels).
• Good knowledge of vehicle electrical electronics parts/systems.
• Experience in creating software specifications for the automotive electronic controllers and In-vehicle Network (CAN/LIN/Diag).
• Knowledge of Diagnostic communication protocols ex: KWP2000, UDS etc.
• Proficiency in CANOE software usage.
• Understanding of vehicle level testing of electronic controller’s software.
• Experience in Encryption and Cyber security.
• VT studio familiarization
• Familiar with CAN based testing and Network Management test cases
