Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Scrum PS PDS CICS APIs AWS File Aid CICS VSAM JCL IDMS DB2 and COBOL. Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to our innovative projects and help drive our mission forward.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Utilize Scrum methodologies to manage and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain test automation frameworks using PS PDS and CICS APIs.
  • Leverage AWS services to enhance testing capabilities and infrastructure.
  • Use File Aid for data management and validation during testing processes.
  • Work with CICS VSAM JCL IDMS DB2 and COBOL to ensure seamless integration and performance of applications.
  • Identify document and track defects and work with developers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct performance testing to ensure applications meet performance standards and requirements.
  • Provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testing practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and automation.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Scrum methodologies and agile practices.
  • Have hands-on experience with PS PDS and CICS APIs.
  • Show expertise in AWS services and their application in testing.
  • Be skilled in using File Aid for data management and validation.
  • Have a strong understanding of CICS VSAM JCL IDMS DB2 and COBOL.
  • Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is a plus.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Be proactive and able to work independently in a hybrid work model.
  • Show a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Hold relevant certifications in software testing and automation.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
