Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infra. Architect with 12 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IBM Cloudant DB Sybase DB Administration and IBM DB2 LUW DB Admin. This role requires domain experience in Property & Casualty Insurance. The work model is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust infrastructure solutions to support business operations.
  • Oversee the administration and optimization of IBM Cloudant DB Sybase DB and IBM DB2 LUW DB.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to ensure database performance integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure strategies with business goals.
  • Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to maintain optimal database performance.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations procedures and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in database management.
  • Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex database issues to minimize downtime.
  • Implement disaster recovery plans and backup strategies to safeguard data.
  • Monitor and analyze database performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in database technologies and integrate them into the infrastructure.
  • Support the development and deployment of new applications and services.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior team members to enhance their technical skills.

  • Possess strong expertise in IBM Cloudant DB Sybase DB Administration and IBM DB2 LUW DB Admin.
  • Demonstrate extensive experience in Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Show proficiency in designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions.
  • Have a solid understanding of database security and compliance requirements.
  • Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Be capable of working effectively in a hybrid work model.
