Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Architect with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in various technologies including API Gateway Apache Log4J Spring Cloud Spring Boot Redis Gradle Spring Integration Java JSON Spring MVC Spring Core Rest API Spring Framework and Maven. This role is based in our office and operates during day shifts. No travel is required.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and implementation of scalable and robust technology solutions using Spring Framework and related technologies.Oversee the development and maintenance of APIs ensuring they meet performance and security standards.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements translating them into technical specifications.Ensure the integration of various systems using Spring Integration and other middleware technologies.Optimize application performance by implementing caching solutions with Redis.Manage and maintain build automation using Gradle and Maven ensuring efficient and reliable builds.Develop and enforce coding standards and best practices particularly in Java and JSON.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues leveraging expertise in Apache Log4J and other logging frameworks.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies incorporating them into the architecture as appropriate.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process identifying and implementing automation opportunities.Ensure the security and compliance of applications particularly in the context of Rest APIs and data handling.
Qualifications
Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in technology architecture and development.Demonstrate extensive experience with Spring Framework including Spring Boot Spring Cloud Spring MVC and Spring Core.Have a strong background in API Gateway Apache Log4J and Rest API development.Show proficiency in build automation tools such as Gradle and Maven.Exhibit expertise in Java and JSON with a focus on high-performance applications.Experience with Redis for caching solutions is required.Knowledge of Spring Integration for system integration is essential.Domain experience in Asset & Wealth Management or COTS Products (BFS Ast&Wlth) is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team.A proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends.A commitment to delivering high-quality secure and scalable solutions.
