Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infra. Architect with 12 to 15 years of experience in z/OS Administration and z/OS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the infrastructure architecture to support our business operations. This role requires a deep understanding of z/OS systems and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
Design and implement infrastructure solutions that align with business goals and objectives.Oversee the administration and maintenance of z/OS systems to ensure high availability and performance.Provide technical expertise in z/OS Administration to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure solutions with other systems and applications.Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure architecture processes and procedures.Conduct regular assessments of the infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for infrastructure management.Lead the planning and execution of infrastructure projects ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.Monitor system performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies as needed.Provide guidance and support to junior team members fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.Stay updated with the latest developments in z/OS and related technologies to ensure the infrastructure remains current and competitive.Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure business continuity.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on infrastructure status and project progress.
Qualifications
Possess a deep understanding of z/OS Administration and z/OS systems.Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Exhibit excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Show proficiency in designing and implementing infrastructure solutions.Have experience in project management and the ability to lead infrastructure projects.Display knowledge of industry standards and best practices for infrastructure management.
