Job Description

Responsibilities

:

• Track and manage IT renewals across sub-categories including hardware, software, application, and services.
• Understand and apply standard procurement principles.
• Be able to work to deadlines and contracted KPIs - focus on quick turnaround and savings.
• Respond to Internal clients’ and stakeholders’ requests for quotation within given SLAs.
• Be confident negotiating price, payment terms, contractual terms, delivery timescales etc. to achieve targets and increase savings for our customers.
• Evaluate supplier price, quality, and delivery performance.
• Onboard new suppliers and maintain existing supplier records.
• Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships through effective communications.
• Prepare and implement appropriate forms of contract commitment with suppliers, engaging legal counsel and senior management when required.
• Stay current and up to date on market changes that may affect the supply and demand of products/services. Communicate this effectively to relevant stakeholders.
• Attend meetings and update other colleagues on issues or concerns to share best practice and define processes.
• Develop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement.
• Able to handle create, present, and manage exec reviews.

• Analytical and financial skills
• Working in a matrix team environment

Preferred qualifications

• Exercises sound judgement on day-to-day business problems and provides recommendations for solving course correction, ability to act on own initiative.
• Communicates clearly and with an expansive style.
• Ability to lead a team of diverse skill set professionals (when required either in a line management role or as part of a matrix team)
• Oral and written proficiency in English (additional languages are preferred)
• Degree or equivalent professional qualification within Business Management, Procurement and/or Supply Chain management (would preferred)
