Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Zero based Should Be Costing (SBC) of
-Dies, Molds & patterns made in India & imported suitable for ferrous Casting, Patterns, Forging, Gear cutting, Machining & Assembly lines/setup
-Molds for different Non Ferrous casting processes-HPDC, LPDC, Gravity casting, Core dies, Fixtures for Machining, Assly & Gauge
-Dealt with Dies/Tools/Molds for parts like Transmission casing, Housing, Diff Case, Shafts, Front Cover & Automotive parts

Develop Cam-works basis tool path generation

Set MHR for Tool Room machines, Raw Material & BOP lists

Develop STD estimation cost models for tools & generate data base

Work with Design, Engineering, SSU, CDMM, Tier one and Toolmakers for optimum tool solution.

Support Sourcing to identify cost reduction opportunities in tooling cost negotiation

General Experience

8 + Years out of which 3years in foundry & forging tool development & tool Design

Critical Experience

Knowledge of Various Casting & Forging dies design and manufacturing process with Tool Machining time estimation
Knowledge of die design standards & BOP standards
Knowledge of design software like Catia, solid edge, autocad
Knowledge of cam softare like camsoft, delcam
Good analytical skills
Able to work with multiple projects
