Job Description
Information Management of Multiple construction project environment with mega project execution experience.
Configuration and deployment of COTS as well as other in-house tools for construction activities.
Defining optimized processes for regular construction activities in view of digital project execution.
Understanding of all construction deliverable and its lifecycle during project execution.
Define, develop and execute fabrication management systems (Spoolgen, TEKLA) including detail drawing generation, vendor coordination, and effective collaboration with shop fabrication team.
Defining infrastructure requirement for site activities in coordination with IT.
Development of in-house system by identifying gaps in construction activities for digital project execution. This includes, SIT, Fabrication management, Construction progress, etc.
Setting up project office for site personnel during project execution.
Coordination with EIM for various engineering disciplines and aligning them with construction/site requirement in terms of project execution.
Responsible for deploying digital architecture developed for the project.
Conducting workshop for internal construction teams to explain processes and data requirement for the digital execution.
Material control activities management for site scope of execution, once material is received after GRN.
Detailing MTO compilation from Spoolgen and TEKLA and its comparison with engineering MTO data. Forecasting and allocation of material activities based on schedule and site requirement.
Analysis of work front availability and providing visibility to procurement team for ordering of required material.
Visibility of Store management, material stacking and issuance to various contractors as per project requirement. Material movement within the plant, site and warehouse.
Management of bulk and tag data and its issuance to the contractor, reconciliation of additional or lost material and posting additional material requirement to system.
Developing Service codes for all the disciplines and maintaining its uniqueness to aid automated certified billing system. Pay-item mapping system against project WBS.
Managing the flow of Site Engineering request (SER), PCO, FCN as well as MOC job management.
Managing digital framework of construction activities with the help of specific plant project construction information manager and streamlining processes across site activities.
Coordination with construction managers and Project managers, discipline
Bachelor/ Post Graduate degree in Engineering
12+ years’ of experience in managing construction activities for mega project execution.
Experience in integrated environment across E P & C applications.
Experience in Oil and Gas/Chemical/Petrochemical
Experience of project execution in digital management of construction activities.
Experience using and customizing the Business Intelligence Reporting (BIR) tool.
Vendor relationship and contractor management skills
