Business Consulting works with clients to reimagine or transform their business purpose and model; create growth; manage cost and efficiency; respond to market pressures and regulation; and resolve operational challenges. The scope of this team encompasses innovation, strategy and purpose, through deep functional experience in business transformation, finance, supply chain and operations, providing support for the complex and large-scale program and portfolio management.

It has multiple fields of play such as:

Finance Consulting - helps assess and transform our clients' finance function to improve performance and effectiveness. We help organizations implement service and cost improvement initiatives, and embed a performance management process and culture that unites the business around its core objectives.

Business Transformation - a m?ultidisciplinary competency, gathering capabilities in transformation architecture, experience design, business design and transformation execution to problem-solve, design and deliver large scale, multi-year, multi-stakeholder transformation programs.

Supply Chain and Operations - we provide a unique combination of industry-specific, strategic, operational and financial insights, digital technology advances and strategic alliance partners to deliver better outcomes and also help clients effect fundamental change in their operations’ performance to support sales growth, become more cost competitive, minimize risk and ensure operational resilience.

Job Role

The Manager will mainly work with the EY team to:

Lead client engagements and manage program delivery and client expectations
Oversee various work-streams and lead the preparation/presentation of work-products
Manage senior external/internal stakeholders independently
Manage activities such as engagement economics and receivables, project resources and team utilization
Contribute to the firm’s initiatives in enhancing market leadership & growth, quality, people agenda and operational excellence
Contribute to brand development by developing thought leadership/solution POVs
Contribute to knowledge development and management
Build a high-performance team, mentor and coach team members
Ensure compliance to the firm’s standards, processes and policies
Participate in business development initiatives
Contribute to people-related initiatives including recruiting, retaining and training professionals

 


Professional/Academic Background

8 - 10 years of relevant post MBA experience - Consulting background (preferably) or Industry background (Business excellence / functional role)
B.E. / B.Tech. or CA + MBA (preferably from a premier institute such as IIMs, NITIE, SP Jain, XLRI, ISB, FMS etc.) with good academic credentials
Relevant consulting experience with Big 4 is preferred

 


Preferred Skills/Experience

Experience in working on shared services design and implementation, shared services transition, outsourcing advisory, process transformation
Preferred functional expertise/process optimization experience – Hire to Retire, ICT, Procurement and SCM, SSC enablement/Planning & control, Finance  
Hands-on experience on any ERP suite like Oracle, SAP across modules SD, FICO, PS, MM
Experience with process mapping tools like Microsoft Visio, IBM Blueworks, Celonis etc.
Exposure to implementation of RPA/OCR/BI/Consolidation tools
Candidates with prior Middle East experience and/or Arabic know-how will be preferred
