Responsibilities
Regulatory Expertise:
o Interpret and implement SEC regulations concerning the clearing of U.S. Treasury securities.
o Ensure compliance with the new SEC rule mandating central clearing for eligible secondary market transactions by December 31, 2025, and repo transactions by June 30, 2026.
o Advise on additional changes designed to reduce risks faced by clearing agencies and facilitate central clearing in the U.S. Treasury market.
o Oversee operational processes related to regulatory clearing requirements.
o Develop strategies for fundamental risk management and operational changes in response to new regulations.
o Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen existing operating infrastructures.
Business Analysis:
o Conduct detailed business scoping, requirement detailing, documentation, and strategic program development.
o Work closely with stakeholders to define programs that align with business goals impacted by the Treasury clearing Final Rule.
o Utilize agile methodologies to manage project timelines effectively.
Client Engagement:
o Provide expert advice on regulatory requirements impacting revenue, profitability, business alignment, and market structure.
o Engage with clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions for compliance readiness.
