We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our Hotel Capital Markets as Manager. In this role, you will support the identification and execution of investment opportunities, manage transaction processes, and drive business development efforts to expand the firm’s hospitality portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in real estate investments with strategic business development skills and a passion for the hospitality sector.Job Description
About Role:
Transaction Analysis & Support:
- Prepare detailed investment memorandums and transaction presentations.
- Assist in structuring and negotiating deals in collaboration with senior team members
Business Development:
- Proactively identify and develop relationships with potential partners, developers, operators, and investors.
- Generate leads for new investment and development opportunities in the hospitality sector.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings to enhance visibility and foster business relationships.
Financial Modelling:
- Develop, maintain, and refine financial models for hotel assets, including revenue projections, cost analysis, and valuation metrics.
- Evaluate investment returns (IRR, NPV, ROI) and assess risk profiles.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Coordinate with internal teams (legal, compliance, and finance) and external consultants (brokers, appraisers, and advisors) to facilitate transactions.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including hotel operators, property developers, and investors.
About You:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree (MBA, MS in Real Estate) or relevant certifications (CFA, CAIA, RICS) is preferred.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in real estate investment, business development, hospitality, or financial advisory roles.
- Exposure to hotel-specific investments, operations, or business development is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Proven ability to develop and nurture business relationships to drive new opportunities.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and hotel operating models.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM or business development tools.
- Familiarity with real estate management software or platforms is a plus.
