Job Description

Responsibilities


Understanding on upstream and downstream sourcing process, namely S2P and P2P process.
Good knowledge on creation of Buying Channels / Procure goods and services, obtains quotation, develops proposals and/or negotiates contracts of low to moderate value.
Experience / knowledge of nature of requests raised by businesses and evaluating opportunities of savings from those requests.
Manage transactional buying desk activities.
Key would be to ensure that each request is forwarded to the correct channel for action in min possible time frame (eg Sourcing Channel / Direct buying channel etc).
Managing PO related process and vendor set up.
Engage with business and influence them to go via the sourcing route wherever the request has savings / value addition opportunities.
Work closely with sourcing buyers and continue to recommend / discuss savings opportunities on reactive requests.
Should be able to effectively manage internal / external customers & stake holders
Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned with the procurement remit eg analysis / reporting etc
