Male Salon Head

1. CORE PROFILE (Non-Negotiables)

The Male Salon Head must have:

A) 58+ years experience in:

• Mens salon operations OR
• Grooming chains / premium barbershops OR
• Managing multiple stylists / branches

B) Strong technical understanding of:

• Mens haircut styles (classic + modern)
• Beard styling & grooming
• Hair spa, hair treatment, scalp care
• Mens facial & cleanup services

C) Experience in team handling:

• Managed 1030+ stylists directly or indirectly
• Comfortable with discipline, grooming standards, and SOPs

D) Local market understanding Lucknow:

• Area demand (Gomti Nagar, Indira Nagar, Aliganj, Shaheed path etc.)
• Pricing sensitivity of male customers
• Peak demand patterns (weekends, wedding season)

2. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES (What he OWNS)

A) Operations Ownership (Most Important)

• End-to-end responsibility for male salon services in Lucknow
• Daily allocation of stylists for home services
• Ensuring on-time arrival & zero cancellations
• Managing peak demand days without service failure

Note: This is an operations head, not just a stylist trainer.

B) Stylist / Barber Management

1. Onboarding & verification of male stylists

2. Skill assessment & service certification

3. Regular training on:

• New styles
• Hygiene & safety
• Customer communication

4. Handling:

• Poor ratings
• Absenteeism
• Attrition

C. Service Quality & Brand Control

1. Maintain uniform service standards across Lucknow

2. Ensure:

• Proper grooming & dress code
• Tool hygiene & cleanliness
• Professional behavior inside customer homes

3. Zero tolerance for:

• Misbehaviour
• Poor hygiene
• Unprofessional language

D) Customer Experience Management

1. Handling male customer complaints escalated from support

2. Ensuring:

• Quick resolution
• Refund / redo decisions

3. Retention of high-value customers

4. Understanding what premium male customers expect at home

3. KPI / SUCCESS METRICS (How you judge him)

Will be evaluated on:

• Service success rate (%)
• Average customer rating
• Stylist utilization (%)
• Repeat customer rate
• Cancellation rate
• Cost efficiency (partner payout vs revenue)

4. IDEAL PERSONAL QUALITIES (Very Important)

The Male Salon Head should be:

• Firm (mens grooming teams need discipline)
• Process-oriented
• Calm under pressure
• Customer-first
• Comfortable working with apps, dashboards, WhatsApp ops

Not suitable if:

• Ego-driven stylist
• Only interested in cutting hair, not managing people
• Uncomfortable with home-service culture
