Mainframe Function Tester

LTI Mindtree is hiring for Mainframe Function Tester.

About the Role

Lead functional testing across SIT, UAT, and regression phases for mainframe applications.

Responsibilities

• Define and review test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Validate business logic and workflows in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, IMS, and DB2 environments.
• Manage defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers on mainframe and API testing best practices.
• Coordinate testing efforts across distributed teams and offshore/on-site models.
• Communicate testing status, risks, and issues to senior leadership.
• Define and implement QA strategies aligned with SDLC and STLC processes.
