· Monitor and support batch and online jobs in Mainframe environments.
· Analyse and resolve production issues, ensuring minimum downtime and quick resolution.
· Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand enhancement requirements.
· Modify existing programs or develop new programs using COBOL, RPG, CL, and JCL.
· Work with IDMS and DB2.
· Perform root cause analysis and create documentation for incidents and changes.
· Participate in change management, deployments, and post-implementation support.
· Ensure adherence to SLAs, security standards, and compliance requirements.
Technical Skills Required:
Mainframe (IBM z/OS):
• COBOL, JCL, IDMS, CICS, VSAM
• CA-Panvalet
AS400 (IBM i):
• RPG III/IV/ILE, CL, DB2/400
• implementor tool (for change management)
• Query/400, SQL
