Mainframe Developer

Your role

We are seeking a Mainframe Engineer with strong analytical skills to work on Mainframe-related enhancements. This role involves analyzing requirements, writing, testing, and debugging mainframe code. The candidate should be familiar with the end-to-end project lifecycle and is expected to create and maintain relevant documentation and artifacts.

• collaborate with technologists to drive delivery within an agile framework
• conduct as-is and to-be impact analysis
• contribute to reduction of all security and operational risks, in line with policies and standards

Your expertise

• professional with a career reflecting tech leadership abilities coupled with "hands on" experience in a diverse range of software projects. should have at least 8 years of experience in developing and maintaining it software systems.
• strong experience in cobol, cics, jcl, vsam, stored procedures, db2 and other mainframe related tools.
• strong experience in online and batch related mainframe functions.
• strong experience in analyzing and writing stored procedures.
• exposure on core java, rest api, microservice and spring framework
• strong understanding of relational db (mainframe db2, oracle, sql).
• good understanding of agile based execution processes.
• proven skills in performance tuning and quality improvements.
