TCS is hiring for "Mainframe"
Location: - Bangalore
Experience Range: - 6+ yrs
Must-Have
Experience in Mainframe COBOL, JCL, DB2 Programming.
Good-to-Have
- Experience in Mainframe COBOL, DB2, JCL.VSAM
- Good understanding of various tools used in Mainframe FILA, Scheduling tools.
- Good knowledge in analyzing job failures and trace back to see the root cause.
- Knowledge of various error codes generated and the steps to resolve the issue.
- Good knowledge of z/OS architecture, JCL, IBM utilities etc.
- Good analytical skills and decision making.
- Knowledge in CICS, IMS will be added advantage.
- Be available for on-call rotation after business hours to provide 24hr support for any production operational issues.
- Highlight areas for improvement in current processes and implement improvements.
