About the Role
TCS is hiring an experienced Mainframe Performance & Capacity Management Specialist (L3) to monitor, analyze, and optimize mainframe system performance and capacity. This role involves advanced troubleshooting, capacity planning, and ensuring efficient resource utilization for enterprise workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform performance analysis and tuning for mainframe systems.
- Conduct capacity planning and forecasting for future workloads.
- Monitor system utilization and optimize resource allocation.
- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams for performance optimization.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for performance and capacity metrics.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Mainframe Performance Management and Capacity Planning .
- Expertise in tools like RMF, SMF, Omegamon, TMON , or similar.
- Knowledge of z/OS, JCL, and mainframe utilities.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
