Role Description

The Machine Shop Incharge will oversee daily manufacturing operations, manage production planning, ensure quality control, and streamline operations management to achieve optimal efficiency. The role involves supervising production teams, coordinating schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

1 MACHINE SHOP INCHARGE for CNC & VTL Machines

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of CNC Turning & VTL machines
• Handle job setup, tool selection & machining parameters
• Ensure FirstPiece Approval & inprocess quality checks
• Monitor operator performance & production output
• Troubleshoot machining issues & reduce cycle time
• Maintain 5S, safety, and machine discipline
• Oversee preventive maintenance of machines

Requirements

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical or Production
• 510 years experience in CNC & VTL machining
• Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures & machining processes
• Strong CNC programming understanding (Fanuc/Siemens preferred)
• Ability to read engineering drawings & tolerances
• Good leadership and supervisory skills

2 MACHINE SHOP INCHARGE for HMC & VMC Machines

Responsibilities

• Lead HMC & VMC machining operations
• Program review, fixture planning, job setting
• Optimize machining cycles, tools & strategies
• Ensure high accuracy and quality standards
• Coordinate with Quality, Production & Design teams
• Minimize machine downtime & improve efficiency
• Train operators and supervise shift activities

Requirements

• Diploma / BE in Mechanical or Production
• 510 years experience in HMC & VMC machining
• Strong CNC programming understanding (Fanuc/Siemens preferred)
• Expertise in tooling, fixturing & complex machining
• Ability to handle precision components & tight tolerances
