Job Description:

Apple Macintosh Engineer to support the Client

Summary:

• Performs day today backend engineering support on MAC operating systems
• Interface with senior IMF personnel daily
• Responds and resolves end user issues that require advanced knowledge of Apple or iOS systems
• Updates status of SNOW queued service requests
• The responsibilities for the candidates in this role include but are not limited to the following
• Builds packages and administrations Mac OS and IOS devices through JAMF Pro and Intune
• Experience of migrating MAC devices from JAMP Pro to Intune
• Experience in Provisioning MAC device using Intune
• Setup maintain document and train on JAMF Pro Server in an enterprise environment
• Participate in the requirements gathering design testing implementation and OM of new Macintosh Desktop Service Solutions
• Establish desktop hardening through security best practices and penetration testing
• Conduct product evaluations and participate in the selection process
• Developing documentation of system architecture and management within standard operating procedures SOPs
• Assist existing Tier I and II support staff
• Provide Mac incident escalation expertise for Tier I and II
• Complete overall patch release management as well as ensure all packages are deployed efficiently and as transparently as possible
• Identify manage and monitor for vulnerabilities that may affect compliance requirements and change management procedures
• Assists in planning maintaining and implementing Antivirus and Malware security on the AppleMac localized level
• Troubleshoot related issues for users and perform problem resolution in regard to related service requests
• Provide subject matter expertise on issues and tasks related to the remote distribution of packages
• Provide subject matter expertise for all issues that may affect workstations OS Application Network GPO etc
• Supports Windows and Windows domain initiatives related to AppleMac
• Assist with updating Process and Procedure documentation for End User Technology and Service Desk
• Perform assigned tasks independently
• Excellent writing and interpersonal skills

Minimum Requirements

Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience providing engineering support specializing in Apple hardware and MAC operating systems
