Education

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Experience/ Qualifications

§  Should have 4 to 8 years’ experience as M365 Administrator / Architect.

§  Knowledge in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online/on-premises, Security Configuration, Active Directory, ADFS Infra and SCCM.

§  Should have implemented 2 - 3 projects related to Microsoft 365 with Exchange On-Premises, SCCM, ADFS and Hybrid Infrastructure Model.

§  Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 core services, including Exchange Online/On-Prem, Intune, SharePoint Online, MS-Teams, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

§  Experience in hybrid identity management, security policies, and governance frameworks.

§  Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience.

§  Knowledge of Microsoft Defender and other compliance tools.

§  Experience with multi-cloud environments and third-party M365 management tools.

§  Should have experience of implementing Microsoft 365 with On-Premises for at least 2-3 projects.

§  Should have experience in managing Azure Active Directory, ARR Proxy and Hybrid Configuration Wizard.

§  Must be Familiarity with Zero Trust Framework.

§  Should have knowledge of Conditional Access and MFA to secure Identities.

§  Expertise in Microsoft Power Apps, Teams, Power Automate and Microsoft Forms.

§  Experience in on-prem Exchange Integration & Secure Architecture and SCCM

§  Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 Administration:

§  Manage Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, MS-Teams, OneDrive, and other M365 services.

§  Lead large-scale M365 migrations, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams transitions.

§  Develop migration strategies, risk assessments, and rollback plans to ensure smooth transitions.

§  Implementation of Microsoft 365 integrated with Exchange On-Premises which will include ADFS Infra and third party Two Factor Authentication.

§  Microsoft 365 should be implemented with best level security standard as per CIS and NIST baseline.

§  User & License Management: Create, manage, and support user accounts, groups, and licensing within Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

§  Troubleshooting & Support: Provide Level 2/3 support for M365-related issues.

§  Automation & Scripting: Use PowerShell to automate administrative tasks and manage bulk operations.

§  Backup & Recovery: Ensure proper backup strategies and disaster recovery plans for Microsoft 365 data.

§  Integration & Collaboration: Work with other IT teams to integrate Microsoft 365 with enterprise applications and services.

§  Monitoring & Optimization: Use Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Defender, and other tools to monitor system health, performance, and security threats.

§  Training & Documentation: Develop user guides, provide training, and document best practices for end-users and IT staff.

§  Monitor Microsoft 365 performance, capacity planning, and service health to optimize user experience.

§  Leverage analytics and reporting tools to track adoption, usage trends, and security compliance.

Microsoft Intune & Other apps Administration:

§  Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for endpoint management (Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android).

§  Develop and enforce policies for Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM).

§  Troubleshoot device enrollment, configuration profiles, application deployments, and conditional access policies.

§  Work with security teams to implement Defender for Endpoint and compliance controls.

§  Manage Microsoft Teams policies, configurations, and user settings through the Teams Admin Center.

§  Administer Teams voice and telephony features, including Direct Routing, Calling Plans, and Phone System integration.

§  Monitor Teams performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize call quality and connectivity.

§  Configure Teams meeting policies, guest access, and compliance settings.

§  Support Teams integrations with SharePoint, OneDrive, and third-party applications.

Security & Compliance:

§  Implement and maintain security policies, compliance settings, data classification and data loss prevention (DLP) measures.

§  Implement security best practices for Intune and Teams, including Conditional Access, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Defender for Office 365.

§  Monitor and respond to security incidents related to Intune-managed devices and Teams communication.

§  Establish and enforce security & data protection policies, including Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Zero Trust security models.

§  Implement data loss prevention (DLP), Microsoft Purview Compliance, and Defender for Office 365.

§  Work with security teams to manage threat protection, identity management, and encryption strategies.

§  Utilize Power Automate, PowerShell scripting, and API integrations to automate processes and workflows

§  Develop governance policies, best practices, and compliance frameworks for Microsoft 365 adoption

§  Administer Microsoft 365 cloud applications, Including Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, and Dynamics 365 integrations.

Certifications

Microsoft 365 Certification MS-102, SC-300 and SC-900 preferred.
