Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Looker / Data Visualization Specialist to design, develop, and maintain data models, dashboards, and visualizations in Looker. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and developers to ensure data accuracy, actionable insights, and a seamless user experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain LookML models , dashboards , reports , and custom visualizations in Looker.
• Design, optimize, and implement data models ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance .
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable Looker solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers and developers to troubleshoot and resolve data/technical issues .
• Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and performance improvement within Looker.
• Participate in ETL process development and assist in integrating new data sources when needed.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in LookML scripting , Looker dashboard development, and data visualization best practices.
• Advanced SQL skills (BigQuery experience preferred).
• Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and Python scripting is a plus.
• Basic familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .

Preferred Experience:

• 58 years in business intelligence, data analytics, or data visualization roles .
• Proven track record of building scalable BI solutions in Looker or similar platforms.
• Experience optimizing dashboards for performance and user experience .
