Looker BI Developer | Bangalore (Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced Looker BI Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Looker BI, LookML, and SQL,to design, develop, and optimize analytics dashboards for business and leadership stakeholders.

This role is ideal for professionals who have worked on production-grade Looker implementations, understand data modeling and performance tuning, and can translate business requirements into actionable insights.

Role Details

Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days/week)

Interview Mode:

• Round 1(Virtual),
• Round 2(Face-to-face interview at Bangalore Office)

Notice Period: Immediate to 21 Days

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Looker BI (production dashboards, tiles, filters, role-based access)
• Solid LookML modeling experience (explores, views, dimension groups, PDTs)
• Proficient SQL (CTEs, window functions, joins, query optimization) on BigQuery or SQL Server
• Experience in dashboard performance optimization (PDTs, caching, filter scoping)
• Implemented Row-Level Security (RLS) using user attributes or access filters
• Familiar with Git-based version control and environment-based deployments
• Good data visualization & UX practices for business dashboards
• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with stakeholders

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Liquid parameters in LookML
• Drill-down / drill-through dashboards and deep linking
• Familiarity with dev,staging,prod promotion in Looker
• Exposure to Retail or BFSI KPIs
• Basic Python or Bash scripting for data support

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable LookML models
• Build and enhance production-grade Looker dashboards
• Optimize dashboards for performance and usability
• Implement and validate data access controls (RLS)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and track business KPIs
• Support releases and enhancements across environments
