Logistics Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation & Compliance;

• Prepare and verify shipping documents (Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, e-way bills, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, DGFT policies and other statutory requirements.
• Handle export-import licenses and other schemes.

Logistics & Coordination;

• Liaise with freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agents), shipping lines and transporters.
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain records of imports and exports for audit and MIS reporting.
• Resolve issues related to customs clearance, shipment delays or documentation discrepancies.

Skills & Competencies;

• Strong knowledge of EXIM policies, customs procedures, and DGFT regulations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Qualifications;

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, International Business or related field.
• 25 years of experience in Export-Import operations.
• Knowledge of INCOTERMS, HS codes and international trade practices preferred.
