We are seeking an experienced Senior Load Balancer & Network Engineer to join our dynamic infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced Unix system administration skills, strong expertise in IP networking, and hands-on experience with leading load balancing technologies, including Citrix NetScaler, Nginx, and F5. This role requires deep knowledge of enterprise-scale DNS management, as well as extensive experience with Arista, Cisco, and Juniper networking gear. The engineer will play a key role in ensuring the high availability, scalability, and performance of our distributed applications and services. Key Responsibilities:Load Balancer Management: Configure, maintain, and optimize load balancing solutions (Citrix NetScaler, Nginx, F5) to ensure high availability, performance, and security of web and application traffic.DNS Management: Handle DNS configurations and optimizations at an enterprise scale, preferrably unbound.Networking Expertise: Leverage advanced IP networking skills to design, implement, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure. Work with routing, switching, VPN, and firewall configurations.Infrastructure Support: Manage and optimize enterprise-class networking gear, including Arista, Cisco, and Juniper switches and routers, ensuring seamless integration into the overall infrastructure.Collaboration & Troubleshooting: Work closely with other engineering teams (e.g., Ops, Security, Systems) to resolve infrastructure-related issues and improve operational efficiency.Performance Optimization: Monitor network and load balancer performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and implementing scalability solutions for high traffic volumes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or related field, or equivalent work experience.CCNP or CCIE certification is required (CCIE preferred)8+ years of hands-on experience with load balancing technologies, including Citrix NetScaler, Nginx, and F5.Expertise in IP networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and VPNs.Experience with DNS management and troubleshooting at scale, including internal and external DNS infrastructure.Proficiency with enterprise networking equipment from vendors such as Arista, Cisco, and Juniper.
