Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Linux Systems Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux systems, server management, security configurations, and troubleshooting. This role also requires experience with networking, VPN setup, and cloud infrastructure management (specifically OVH, AWS). The candidate should be proficient in both Bash and Python scripting, with a solid grasp of web servers (Apache2, Nginx), database management (MySQL, MongoDB), and version control systems like GitLab and GitHub.

Key Responsibilities

• Server & Network Management:
• Configure, deploy, and maintain Linux servers, ensuring security, performance, and uptime. Manage network infrastructure, VPNs.
• Security & System Maintenance:
• Implement and monitor firewalls, security systems, and vulnerability assessments. Perform regular updates, backups, and disaster recovery planning to ensure data protection and business continuity.
• Web & Database Administration:
• Set up and maintain Apache2 and Nginx web servers, manage SSL certificates, and deploy web applications. Administer MySQL and MongoDB databases, handling backups, migrations, and performance optimization.
• Automation & Version Control:
• Develop Bash/Python scripts for automation and reliability improvements. Use GitLab/GitHub for version control and seamless collaboration with development teams.
• Cloud & Infrastructure Management:
• Manage AWS resources including IAM and S3 for secure data storage, cloud migration, and system scalability.
• Device, Internet & User Management:
• Oversee laptop setup, internet connectivity, and peripheral configurations. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across systems. Including Routers and load balancers, while troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must Skills:

Linux server expertise is mandatory ; candidates with primarily Windows server experience will not be considered
