Must Have:
- Strong expertise in Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash) for automation tasks.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Nutanix).
- Knowledge of patch management and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance optimization.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good to have:
- ServiceNow
- Agile Methodology
- Incident management
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, ensuring optimal performance and high availability.
- Develop and manage Ansible playbooks and roles for automated provisioning, patching, and configuration management.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement capacity planning strategies.
- Manage system backups and restoration procedures; provide user training on recovery processes.
- Deploy and configure virtual machines; automate provisioning using Ansible.
- Design and maintain automation scripts and system tools to streamline operational workflows.
- Integrate software across diverse technologies and resolve compatibility issues.
- Maintain patch releases, implement automated patching strategies, and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Conduct audits on security processes and maintain system integrity.
- Provide technical support for applications and infrastructure, ensuring optimal customer service.
- Perform regular testing of new software, maintain patches, and monitor system frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Handle P1 and P2 incident calls, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business impact.
- Perform audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement security best practices.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and training to junior team members.
