Job Description
Job Title: Linux Administrator L3
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 10-12 Years
Responsibilities:
- Managing & maintaining SUSE Servers
- Managing IBM, DELL, Lenovo Fujitsu and HP HANA appliance servers. Building/reimages SUSE Linux servers in both physical and virtual environment.
- Managing Linux virtual machines that are configured in ESX environments.
- Providing Level 3 supports to the customers and Managing the Antivirus environment.
- Patching and OS upgrades on SUSE servers Exposure on DNS, NFS, Samba, FTP, LDAP, NTP, Email services. Knowledge on SAN or NAS environment.
- Knowledge on RAID, LVM. Exposure on any clusters and package management
- Good understanding of Networking concepts like TCP/IP, DHCP, IP Routing and Name Resolution.
- Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and providing solutions for technical issues.
- OS Concepts on Security, Backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, LDAP, high availability and disaster recovery co Knowledge in configuration management systems such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible
- Must Have: Skills in Cloud (AWS Or Azure Or Both for creating and managing EC2 instances using VPCs. AWS EC2 CLI Tools for auto-scaling of instances, backup management, s3 management
- Azure Skills: Thorough knowledge on Azure platforms IAAS, PaaS.
- Deep understanding of Cloud Computing and various deployment methodologies
- Ability to design application and deployment architecture from On-premise to Cloud Provided architectural guidance for Azure solutions
- Strong knowledge of Azure App services, Azure Resource Manager (ARM Templates) Good understanding of Azure storage options
