Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations

Linux:
Skills:
- Hands on experience in setting up RHEL
- OS build automation experience & PowerShell scripting for day to day tasks preferred.
- Install software, maintain appropriate service levels, performance tuning and upgrades.
- Perform advanced tasks such as, capacity planning, performance monitoring, provide recommendations for improvement and implement or oversee implementation of the recommendations.
- Perform system software upgrades including planning / scheduling, testing, coordination, and maintaining integrity of operating system environment.
- Harden operating system parameters in line with client / Dimension Data security policy, standards or best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Work with AWS Architect to provision/deprovision the required AWS infrastructure
- Understand the Scope of work applicable for new customer environment being supported by Wipro Solutions team
- Responsible for resolving issues related to Linux during migration of the on-premises to AWS public cloud hosted customer environment.
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility
- Administer, maintain, and support Linux (RHEL) operating systems
