Job Description
We are a growing intimate apparel brand looking to hire an expert Technical Designer on a project basis to develop high-quality, factory-ready Tech Packs for our core collection. Our target audience includes both Indian and International markets, requiring a professional who understands global sizing standards and high-performance fit.
Scope of Work:
The project involves creating comprehensive Tech Packs for the following three styles:
1. Hipster
2. Bikini
3. Boyshorts
Requirement: We need these developed for both Traditional Seamed (Cut & Sew) and Seamless (Circular Knit) constructions (Total of 6 Tech Pack versions).
Detailed Deliverables per Style:
1. Technical Illustrations: Professional 2D flats (Front, Back, and Internal Gusset views) with detailed callouts.
2. Bill of Materials (BOM): Comprehensive list of fabrics (composition/GSM), elastics, trims, and branding labels.
3. Construction Details: Clear instructions on stitch types (e.g., Flatlock, Zig-zag), SPI (Stitches Per Inch), and seam allowances.
4. Seamless Specifications: For seamless versions, provide technical "Knitting Maps" (waistband welts, compression zones, and yarn plating details).
5. Sizing & Grading: Base size (Medium) specs with a professional grading nest for XS through XXL (covering Indian and International charts).
6. Point of Measurement (POM): A clear measurement guide for quality control at the factory level.
Candidate Requirements:
Proven expertise in Lingerie/Contour Fashion (Essential).
Deep understanding of fabric "stretch and recovery" and elastic tensioning.
Experience with Seamless technology (knowledge of Santoni or similar circular knit machines).
Ability to work on a fixed-project timeline.
