Liferay Developer

Experience - 5-10 yrs

Location- Hyderabad, Chennai, Banglore, Pune, Kolkata, Bhubneshwar

Primary Skills 6 to 8 years of professional experience working with Liferay Portal (version 6.x, 7.x preferred). Strong Java development skills, including J2EE, Servlets, JSP, and Spring Framework. Experience with Liferay portlet development using MVC frameworks like MVC, MVCPortlet, or Vaadin. Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React is a plus. Knowledge of database design and SQL (MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL). Experience with Liferay Service Builder and OSGi module development.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and customize Liferay Portal applications and components (portlets, themes, hooks, etc.). Implement new features and enhancements based on business requirements. Integrate Liferay with backend systems using REST APIs, SOAP, and other middleware. Develop and maintain custom workflows using Liferay Workflow and Kaleo. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize portal performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UX/UI, and business stakeholders.
