Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Medical Devices AI Solution Architect with deep expertise in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions across the medical devices value chainspanning R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, and patient safety. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AI/ML architecture, MLOps, and Generative AI, along with a strong understanding of medical device data and regulatory aspects. You will lead end-to-end solution design, deployment, and governance, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design end-to-end AI/ML solutions for medical devices.
• Implement MLOps methodologies for streamlined model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Apply Cognitive AI techniques (NLP, Computer Vision, Speech, Conversational AI) and Document AI .
• Work with LLMs and Generative AI models , including custom model creation and integration.
• Ensure integration of AI solutions into cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Drive productionization of ML solutions , ensuring robustness, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into products and services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI teams.
• Maintain detailed documentation for architecture, design, and implementation.
• Stay updated on latest AI/ML trends, techniques, and best practices.

Mandatory Skills

• 8+ years in AI/ML with at least 3+ years in Medical Devices AI solutions .
• Proven experience in AI, ML, MLOps, Text Analytics, and Generative AI .
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java .
• Hands-on with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of ML & Neural Network architectures (CNN, RNN, Transformers, SVM, Ensemble Models).
• Expertise in NLP tools (NLTK, Spacy, Gensim).
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (Kubeflow, MLflow, Azure ML).
• Experience in Responsible AI practices , LangChain , and Vector Databases .
• Knowledge of workflow tools (Airflow), microservices architecture , and SQL/NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Postgres, Neo4j).
• Experience with REST API frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).

Desirable Skills

• Advanced degree (Masters/PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience with statistical modeling, data mining, and advanced ML algorithms .
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or published research.
• Familiarity with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Architect-level certifications in AI/ML or cloud platforms.
