Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic City Head Wealth Channel for MNC Life Insurance company to drive business growth and distribution expansion in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in agency development, intermediary partnerships, and team leadership within the life insurance sector.
This role will be responsible for driving revenue, managing high-performing teams, and strengthening market presence in the city.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive Agency & Intermediary Channel business for the Mumbai market.
- Develop and execute city-level sales strategies to achieve premium targets.
- Build, manage, and mentor high-performing sales teams and channel managers.
- Strengthen relationships with agents, brokers, and intermediaries.
- Identify opportunities to expand distribution networks and improve productivity.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline, and business metrics.
- Ensure compliance, quality sales practices, and regulatory adherence.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to implement growth initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- 8+ years of experience in Life Insurance distribution.
- Strong exposure to Agency and Intermediary channels.
- Prior team management experience is mandatory.
- Local market knowledge of Mumbai and strong industry network preferred.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
