Responsibilities :
- Oversee the central administration, proactive maintenance, and ongoing enhancement of all relevant software licenses and assets, ensuring the highest quality of data integrity.
- Act as a guardian of compliance, making certain that all entities and locations within the group are audit-ready, including efficient preparation for and support during internal and external license audits.
- Harness data-driven insights by analyzing license inventories, usage patterns, and cost structures, with the strategic goal of maximizing value from our software portfolio and minimizing unnecessary spend.
- Collaborate closely with the global procurement team to drive impactful decisions on license volumes, contract terms, ordering processes, and reporting.
- Take operational responsibility for license management under global agreements, ensuring best-in-class vendor relations with key providers such as Microsoft, Salesforce, and Adobe.
- Deliver clear, actionable analyses and management reports regarding inventory, risk, cost optimization opportunities, and group-wide compliance, providing crucial information for executive decision-making.
- Contribute actively to cross-functional initiatives in areas like software implementation, migration projects, cloud services, and the groups digital transformation journey.
- Proactively pursue ongoing professional development and champion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, aiming for the strategic use and deployment of AI agents to automate and elevate license and asset management processes for the future.
Qualifications :
- 35 years of relevant professional experience in software license management & IT asset management, working experience in a multi-cultural environment.
- Very good knowledge of common licensing models and metrics, especially for Microsoft, Salesforce, and Adobe.
- Experience with SAM/ITAM tools (e.g. Flexera, HaloITSM).
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
- Confident use of MS Office and common reporting tools.
- Practical experience or strong interest in the development and integration of AI agents to enhance software asset management processes and drive digital innovation.
Required Skills :
- The role has an advisory function and is responsible for providing transparent, decision-relevant information and recommendations to the respective stakeholders.
- There is no own contractual or budget decision authority; final decisions are taken by the responsible line management and Global Procurement.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in a multi-cultural environment.
- Strong interest in the development and integration of AI agents.
