Librarian – Membership Based Library (Visakhapatnam)

We are setting up a new membershipbased library in Visakhapatnam offering yearly, 3month, and 6month plans. To bring this vision to life, we are looking for a dedicated Librarian to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily library operations including membership registrations and renewals.
• Catalog, organize, and maintain books and digital resources.
• Assist members in book selection and reading guidance.
• Track borrowing/returns and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate with vendors for infrastructure (computers, AC rentals, etc.).
• Organize reading sessions, workshops, and community events to build engagement.

Requirements:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Library Science or related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Prior experience in library management or educational institutions preferred.
• Techfriendly (basic computer handling, catalog software).
• Passion for books and community building.

Location: Visakhapatnam (preferred areas: Dwaraka Nagar, MVP Colony, Gajuwaka, other popular locations)
