Job Description

  • Job Title: Liaisoning Head/ Head Corporate Affairs Real Estate
  • Location: Gurgaon
  • Reporting To: Chairman


Role Overview:

The Liaising Head will be responsible for managing government liaising, statutory approvals, and RERA compliance for real estate projects. The role ensures timely approvals, regulatory adherence, and seamless coordination with government authorities to support project development and delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

Government & Statutory Liaisoning

Liaise with central, state, and local government authorities for statutory approvals and project clearances

Coordinate with Revenue, Town Planning, Urban Development, Environment, Fire, Airport Authority, Pollution Control Board, Electricity, Water & Sewerage, and Municipal bodies

Obtain approvals including land conversion, zoning, layout sanctions, building plan approvals, environmental clearances, licenses, OC/CC, and completion certificates


RERA Compliance & Regulatory Management

Ensure end-to-end compliance with RERA regulations applicable to the state

Manage RERA project registration, modifications, renewals, and closures

Coordinate timely submission of quarterly and annual RERA disclosures

Ensure accuracy of project details, approvals, timelines, and financial disclosures on the RERA portal

Handle RERA audits, inspections, notices, and hearings, in coordination with legal teams

Advise management on RERA-related risks, penalties, and compliance best practices


Land Acquisition & Due Diligence

Support land identification, acquisition, and due diligence activities

Coordinate with legal teams for land title verification and statutory documentation

Manage government documentation related to land registration and land use permissions


Project Coordination

Work closely with legal, finance, projects, architects, consultants, and external agencies

Align statutory and RERA approval timelines with overall project schedules

Manage liaison consultants and ensure adherence to approval timelines


Budgeting & Planning

Prepare budgets for statutory fees, RERA charges, government levies, and liaison expenses

Monitor and control approval-related costs


Relationship & Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and regulatory authorities

Act as the single point of contact for regulatory communication

Represent the organization in a professional, ethical, and compliant manner


Desired Candidate Profile:

Experience

18- 20+ years of experience in liaisoning, government relations, or regulatory affairs in the real estate sector

Hands-on experience in RERA compliance and project registration is mandatory

Experience in handling residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate projects
