Job Description

üManage the litigation and legal recoveries on a PAN India level.

üTo manage end-to-end legal cases and attend court hearings regularly.

üTo assist in documentation, drafting, and vetting of legal documents.

üTo assist in all legal matters with a focus on legal recovery and collections

Key roles and responsibilities

üIn charge of filing civil/criminal complaints against customers, dealers, agencies, etc. with due consultation with head of department.

üAttendance of regular court hearings in various courts

üLiaison with advocates, other consultants.

üDrafting DPD, LRN and section 138 notices.

üDrafting and filing criminal complaints/ FIRs.

üDraft and solidify agreements, contracts, NDA’s and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights

üDrafting various legal documents/letters/replies including drafting of replies with respect to various court actions

üMaintenance of tracker showing updated case status for each and every legal case for the company.

üPreparation of MIS report across all locations.

üProvide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization

Skills

üShould have sound legal knowledge on Code of Civil Procedure; Code of Criminal Procedure; Indian Penal Code; the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and the Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), Companies Act; Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC); SARFAESI Act, 2002; Transfer Of Property Act; Consumer Laws, Laws relating to mortgage lending (Negotiable Instruments Act, Payments & Settlement Act, Arbitration, Mediation etc.)

üShould have knowledge with respect to lending, mortgage, real estate, Securitization, charge creation etc.

üHands on experience on strategizing legal action on loan accounts; litigation, action under various laws

üStrong Negotiation skills

üStrong written and oral communication skills

üExcellent interpersonal skills, Team player and Motivator.

Qualifications

ü  Should have LLB/LLM from a leading university in India.

ü  2-4 years of experience
