Job Description
Job Purpose & Responsibilities:
The job purpose involves reviewing and vetting agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance, coordinating with internal departments to obtain necessary approvals, finalising documents with stakeholders, engaging in discussions with third parties to negotiate and clarify terms, highlighting caveats for the business unit heads approval, and overseeing compliance management to maintain adherence to regulatory and organizational standards.
Maintain MIS for Agreements
Create and implement templates across all BUs
Vet, review, discuss and finalise agreements / documents in consultation with internal and external stakeholders
Guidance notes on each Agreement to BU Head
Compliance Management
Requirements, Skills & Competencies
Education Qualification: LLB / LLM (Preferably 5 years course Government Law College)
Experience 10 15 years
Functional Skills: Non- Litigation (agreements / legal documents (PoAs, NDAs, MoUs, term sheets, etc. / land acquisition/ title search / commercial negotiations / IPR search / MIS / M&A due diligence / stamp duty calculations / drafting of all types of codes and policies / Notes for Approval / Ex Co presentations / transactional documents / NCLT documents / international laws / banking and security creation documentation / joint ventures / SPA / legal opinions / Management responses)
Preferred Industry: Presently working with top 10 Legal Firms and looking for a shift to Corporate
