Role & responsibilities

  1. Develop, implement, and manage legal policies, procedures, and documents.
  2. Research and analyze legal issues and support the reporting manager / HOD on the legal implications of their decisions.
  3. Peruse, analyze, draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. Independently be able to peruse papers/communications/data / details/ information as may be available and be efficient enough to draft notices, replies, affidavits, plaints, written statements, etc., and communicate effectively and efficiently with all internal stakeholders besides the Advocates, consultants, and external authorities.
  4. Facilitate and provide legal support and guidance to all other functions & departments on all legal issues wherever so sought and required.
  5. Monitor changes in laws and regulations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  6. Manage litigation and dispute resolution matters.
  7. Represent the company in legal proceedings and hearings.
  8. Develop and maintain strong relationships with external legal counsel and AORs.
  9. Oversee regulatory and compliance matters.
  10. Develop and manage daily update of all the litigations across all courts.
  11. Develop, maintain and share weekly, fortnightly, monthly & quarterly legal MISs
