Position - Legal Counsel

Location - Bangalore, Karnataka

Qualification - LL.B./LL.M. from a recognized university

Experience - 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in a reputed law firm and/ or in-house legal department.

Key Responsibilities

Business partnering for the commerce function:

Transactions- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including distribution, agency, service, and real estate related agreements, with minimum supervision.
Provide legal advice to business teams on various operational and excise related matters, proactively implement risk mitigation actions in cross-collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Dispute management- handle litigations at various forums across country, disputes with third-parties, statutory notices received, administrative proceedings etc., to avoid adverse impact on business continuity, or reputation;
Champion anti-trust and IPR related matters; conduct periodic trainings and sensitisation programmes to employees.
Assist in drafting and implementing internal policies, SOPs, and frameworks, legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the business; Maintenance of various MIS, global platforms and periodic updation and reporting
