This role is neither.

At Avadeti Media the strategic communications arm of Ojas Group we need a lawyer who can draft an airtight NDA on Monday and write a media-facing corporate statement that protects the brand on Tuesday. Legal precision and communication clarity aren't separate skills here. They're the same job.

Ojas Group operates across eight sectors luxury fashion, real estate, finance, hospitality, media, agro, education, and lifestyle retail with presence in India, the UK, Europe, and the US. That means your legal work touches real businesses, real brands, and real reputational stakes from day one.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts vendor agreements, NDAs, partnership MOUs, licensing deals, influencer agreements Manage trademark filings, IP protection, and brand enforcement across all Ojas brands Draft corporate statements, press responses, and official communications for media-facing matters Review all public content and press releases for legal and reputational risk before publication Write internal policy documents, compliance advisories, and board-level briefs in plain language Support HR on employment law matters offer letters, policies, termination protocols Develop crisis communication protocols and draft rapid-response statements when issues arise Monitor regulatory developments, media exposure, and social media risks across the portfolio Act as the bridge between legal caution and communication clarity

LLB or integrated BA LLB / BBA LLB from a recognised university (Bar Council enrolment preferred, not mandatory for freshers) Sharp legal writing contracts need precision, corporate statements need clarity, you deliver both Communication instinct you can explain a legal position to a journalist, a designer, and a board member differently each time, correctly every time Attention to detail one wrong word in a contract or press statement costs more than you'd think Comfort with ambiguity multi-sector conglomerate, fast decisions, not everything has precedent Professional presence you'll interact with external counsel, media, regulators, and senior leadership

Internship or moot court experience in corporate law, IP law, or media law Exposure to trademark or copyright filings even academic Interest in fashion, luxury, or media industries Familiarity with corporate governance and compliance frameworks Research skills on SCC Online, Manupatra, or similar legal databases Any exposure to crisis communication or corporate affairs
