Hiring: Legal Associates (Practice-Track Based Recruitment)

Location: Mumbai (On-site)

Engagement: Full-time / Retainership / Panel Advocate

Experience Level: Mid-Senior to Senior (independent handling expected)

We are inviting applications from experienced Legal Associates with demonstrable expertise in defined areas of Indian law. The role is structured into distinct practice tracks, and applicants must apply only under the track that reflects their core strength.

This position is intended for professionals who can advise, consult, draft, and argue independently, with minimal supervision.

Practice Tracks (Applicants Must Choose One Primary Track)

Track 1: Criminal Law & Economic Offences

Focus Areas

• BNS / IPC, BNSS / CrPC
• Prevention of Corruption Act
• PMLA, NDPS, Economic Offences
• Bail, Anticipatory Bail, Quashing, Trials, Appeals

Required Skill Set

• Drafting FIR challenges, bail applications, quashing petitions, written submissions
• Arguing before Trial Courts, High Courts, and Special Courts
• Advising on criminal exposure, strategy, and compliance
• Experience with investigating agencies and procedural law

Track 2: Civil & Commercial Litigation

Focus Areas

• Property disputes, contracts, injunctions
• Commercial suits, recovery proceedings
• Specific performance, tenancy, redevelopment disputes

Required Skill Set

• Drafting plaints, written statements, interim applications
• Handling evidence, trial strategy, and final arguments
• Advising clients on litigation risk and settlement
• Appearances before Civil Courts and Commercial Courts

Track 3: Arbitration & Dispute Resolution

Focus Areas

• Domestic arbitration
• Section 9, 11, 34, and 37 proceedings
• Enforcement and execution of awards

Required Skill Set

• Drafting arbitration petitions and pleadings
• Advising on arbitration clauses and strategy
• Appearing before High Courts and Arbitral Tribunals
• Strong command over Arbitration and Conciliation Act

Track 4: Insolvency & Bankruptcy (IBC)

Focus Areas

• Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP)
• Liquidation proceedings
• Personal guarantor insolvency

Required Skill Set

• Drafting applications before NCLT/NCLAT
• Advising creditors, corporate debtors, and resolution professionals
• Handling claims, resolution plans, and objections
• Strong understanding of IBC timelines and jurisprudence

Track 5: Real Estate, Redevelopment & Regulatory

Focus Areas

• Society redevelopment
• MHADA / SRA / cessed buildings
• RERA and municipal regulations

Required Skill Set

• Drafting development agreements, conveyances, notices
• Advising societies, tenants, and developers
• Handling writ petitions and regulatory challenges
• Familiarity with DCPR and municipal laws

Track 6: Banking, Finance & Regulatory Litigation

Focus Areas

• SARFAESI, DRT, DRAT
• Banking recovery proceedings
• Regulatory and compliance disputes

Required Skill Set

• Drafting securitisation applications and writ petitions
• Advising borrowers and lenders
• Appearances before DRTs, DRATs, and High Courts
• Strong procedural and financial understanding

Core Responsibilities (Across All Tracks)

• Independent legal advisory and consulting
• Drafting pleadings, opinions, agreements, and applications
• Court and tribunal appearances
• Strategy development for complex legal matters
• Client interaction and matter management
