Job Title: Legal Associate

Job Summary: Legal associate will support the Group Head Legal with various tasks, including drafting and reviewing diverse documents and agreements (litigation and corporate), legal research and compliance advisory (both sectoral i.e. pertaining to the healthcare industry and sector-agnostic such as company law, contracts, employment law, POSH, data privacy etc.), acting as a liaison between Company personnel and external counsel (litigation and corporate work). This role would be second in line to the General Counsel and would also need to co-manage the team and internal and external stakeholders.

• Consult and handle all legal processes in pursuance of the summary above
• Work with internal stakeholders to refine/ implement company policy and position on legal issues
• Research, anticipate and guard company against legal risks
• Draft and review legal documents including agreements, policies, etc.
• Research regulations and laws and keep the Organisation informed of any prospective changes in law and its impact on conducting business/ operations
• Communicate with external parties and Company personnel to schedule meetings, interviews, and interactions
• Manage, organize, and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems

What we look for!

• India qualified lawyer from a reputed law school and/or at least 4-6 years of relevant experience in a recognized law firm.
• Meticulous with a keen analytical ability and excellent Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to manage teams and work seamlessly across multidisciplinary teams.
• Represent the Organization in stead of the General Counsel when needed including in in external events, etc.
• Good communication & written skills and strong project coordination skills.
• Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
